Osteopathy
Gentle, drug-free manual therapy that treats the root cause of your pain
Initial consultation £85 · Follow-up £65
Osteopathy is a safe, drug-free and non-invasive manual therapy that helps your body work the way it should. At CT Osteopathy in Whiteley, Fareham, our GOsC-registered osteopath assesses your whole body to find and treat the root cause of your pain — not just the symptoms.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a system of manual therapy that focuses on the health of your whole musculoskeletal system — your joints, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue. By understanding how these structures move and work together, an osteopath can identify what is really driving your discomfort and restore healthy, pain-free movement. Treatment is hands-on and gentle, using techniques such as soft-tissue massage, joint articulation, mobilisation and stretching.

Frequently asked questions
Is osteopathy safe?
Yes. Osteopathy is a safe, drug-free and non-invasive therapy suitable for people of all ages. Our practitioner is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and every treatment is tailored to you.
Do I need a referral to see an osteopath?
No referral is needed — you can book directly with us. We are also recognised by AVIVA, Health Shield and other leading insurers.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person. Many patients notice improvement within a few sessions. After your first assessment we will give you a clear idea of what to expect.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is ideal. We may ask to assess the area of concern, so wearing clothing you can move easily in is helpful.
